Elliott Abraham brings more than 15 years of high-level security expertise to Atlanta chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance Board.
ATLANTA, Mar. 11, 2016—Elliott Abraham, Senior Security Consultant at ADAPTURE, has been named to the board of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), Atlanta chapter. Abraham was selected along with four other designees from a group of more than 30 volunteers interested in joining the board. Board selections were determined by member vote. The CSA is a leading global organization with more than 71,000 members worldwide. The organization promotes awareness of best practices around cloud security compliance, standards, governance, risk management, and other methods of securing a cloud computing environment.
“It is an honor to join the board, especially because the Atlanta chapter of the CSA boasts more than 500 members,” Abraham stated. “I consider our chapter to be among the most influential in our organization, as Atlanta is such a rich technology hub. It is my intention to help our chapter grow to more than 1000 members by 2017.”
Abraham joined ADAPTURE in 2014 and works as a strategic security consultant, helping the company’s Fortune 1000 clientele achieve business goals around IT security and compliance. He carries a number of professional accreditations, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®).
The CSA operates the industry’s leading cloud security certification program and its first user certification—the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK). The organization comprises more than 80 chapters and is headquartered in Seattle, with branch offices in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
