Columbia, S.C., Oct. 20, 2017—The talent division of Adapture, formerly known as The Centrics Group, joined 40 total honorees to celebrate its “Roaring 20s” rank with South Carolina’s fastest-growing companies on Thursday evening at the DoubleTree hotel in Columbia. Representatives from Adapture attended the awards presentation, where the company’s 5th place ranking was announced in the “Small Companies” category.
“We’re very proud of our growth,” former Vice President Kevin Raxter said. “You won’t find a better group of recruiters and staffing specialists to work with, and we are excited to see our hard work recognized in this way. Thank you to SC Biz News for putting on such a great event.”
SC Biz News recognizes the 20 largest and 20 smallest companies in the state each year with the “Roaring 20s” rank awards. This is the first year in which Adapture has appeared on the list.
“We are thrilled to be a ‘Roaring 20s’ company this year,” said former Managing Partner Kevin Raxter. “We’re extremely proud of our growth in South Carolina—a wonderful state in which to do business. Congratulations to our entire team. We also share this honor with all of our incredible clients—thank you for your continued support.”
In order to qualify for the Roaring Twenties list, companies must have a physical presence in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity or a nonprofit organization (excluding government entities and charitable organizations, including 501(c)3 organizations).
Company size was determined by gross revenue. A small company was considered as having $10 million and under in revenue. Large companies were classified as having more than $10 million in revenue. Small companies must have had revenues of at least $500,000 each year in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
