Adapture Volunteers and Partners come together to give back
ATLANTA, November 8, 2023—Around forty-five volunteers represented Adapture at the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The group was comprised of both Adapture employees and partners who live and work in the Atlanta area. Over the course of the afternoon, the team worked together to build kitchen and coffee tables—items that are not often donated. Adapture also donated a new mattress for every volunteer, an integral part of every home and always in demand.
Adapture employees and partners alike worked in teams to assemble the tables that would go out to homes across Atlanta. A naturally competitive group, the team quickly completed all the kitchen tables available and moved on to coffee tables, stacking them up to fit more in the space.
This is the third annual volunteer day Adapture has hosted, the second spent at the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. It is a part of Adapture’s volunteer program in which employees and partners come together as a team to give back to the community.
The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta provides essential furniture, including beds, dressers, couches, tables, and chairs to people in need. Often, their clients are recovering from homelessness or escaping domestic violence. The furniture bank serves Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, Gwinnett and Clayton counties as well as parts of others that fall into its fifty-mile radius.
