Key Facts and Stats you should know. 95% of companies have been compromised in some way by advanced attacks. 243 is the median number of days attackers remain undetected. 69% of US executives are worried that cyber threats will impact their growth. 46% of consumer avoid small merchants as a result of fraud of data breaches. 60% of small businesses that experience a breach close doors within 6 months. 82% of companies with high performing security practice collaborate with others. The concern for cybersecurity threats has increased over the past year. The percentage of CEOs concerned with cybersecurity has increased from 69% in 2014 to 87% in 2015. Companies that are large in size (10,000 employees or more) had 446 incidents. Companies that are medium in size (1,000 to 9,999 employees) saw 199 incidents, and companies small in size (less than 1,000 employees) saw 14 incidents. 28% more cybersecurity incidents were detected by large organizations in 2014 compared to 2013. 46% of all companies surveyed expect to face a cyberattack in 2015. 1 billion data record were compromised globally in 2014. The greatest cyberthreats to organizations from most threatening to least threatening were seen as hackers, employees, organized crime, foreign states, and activists/hacktivists. Think forward.
